San Beda College–Grade School and High School Campus
This new San Beda campus is a welcome relief from the overcrowding of its original location in Mendiola, Manila.
The 10-hectare semi-forested land in the foothills of Antipolo features wide open spaces, mature trees and lush vegetation.
Designed to resemble the palm of a hand with extended fingers, the school appears to cradle its faculty and students in a nurturing, rustic environment.
The open space in front of the structures serves as the school’s quadrangle for plenary activities and flag raising ceremonies.
It also provides ample parking. The buildings that radiate from the central “palm” of the symbolic hand house classrooms, laboratories, a gymnasium, and a faculty center, among other amenities.
Open spaces separate the structures and serve as corridors that provide natural light and ventilation.
