ELJ Communications Center
The name stands for the initials of Mr. Eugenio Lopez Jr., the chairman of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation under whose tenure the structure was built.
The high-end, 15-story building houses broadcast facilities such as studios, technical rooms on the lower floors, and corporate offices of various departments as well as executive offices at the top floors—the first of its kind at that time.
The design is straightforward yet timeless, using a triangular plan configuration following its lot shape.
Double glazed windows and curtain wall system were used, as well as modular concrete panels for the façade.
